Without proper funding many of the trails Washington hikers love could be closed and neglected. Make your voice heard on this important issue.

Each year, Washington Trails Association is in Olympia working with lawmakers to advance the interests of hikers. But we can’t do it alone.

Decision-makers need to hear directly from hikers like you! Elected officials need to know that their constituents–you–care about preserving wildlands, accessing trails and funding for trail maintenance.

It is critical that the hiking community comes out in force for Hiker Rally Day. The day will include a lobbying training, an issue briefing on recreation funding in Washington state, meetings with legislators and the opportunity to network with other hikers.
