The work will be general maintenance to fix trail issues from all the traffic over the last 7 months. There are several pot holes that need patching and gravel that has worked its way off the trail needs to be recovered.

We will be working under the COVID restrictions, but it is all outside low risk work (View FoBM’s Safety Plan). There will be a limit of 5 people to a group but there can be more than one group. We will be keeping at least 6 feet apart, masks will be required if we need to work closer.

Most of the work will be getting the gravel back on the trail. For this we will be using rakes and McLeods (kind of a big rake/hoe thing).

The trailmaster will provide all the tools. Volunteers will need to bring face masks, work gloves, water and snacks with a pack to carry them, and dress for the weather forecast. We will meet by the restroom build in Trailhead Park at 8:30 AM. There isn’t any work for preteens and younger, it is just hard to keep them motivated for 4 hours.
