For this trailwork party we will be meeting at the Candy Mountain Parking lot at 8:30AM.

Friends of Badger Mountain is partnering with the Native Plant Society and the Ice Age Flood Institute to add interpretive features to the flat portion of the Candy Mountain trail. The first project for the fall will be to build a short trail out to a large granite boulder.

The trailmaser will provide all of the necessary tools for the work. Volunteers will need to bring work gloves, water, and snacks with a pack to carry them. Dressing for the weather is also advised. There’s also isn’t any work for preteens or younger.

Signups help our trailmaster to plan trailwork and also baking enough cookies for all of the volunteers. This also helps in case of last minute schedule changes. Let our trailmaster know you’re coming by emailing [email protected]
