SUMMARY:Creating a New Public Mountain Park and Enhancing the Visitor's Experience w/ David Comstock
DESCRIPTION:This is an event led by the Columbia Basin chapter of the Washington Native Plant Society \nDavid Comstock previously led the effort to create the 200 acre Benton County\, Candy Mountain Preserve. Join us to hear him discuss how he is now leading work to create the Candy Interpretive Loop Trail for visitors to learn more about native plants\, Ice Age Floods\, and local geology. David will also discuss FOBM’s current efforts to create a third mountain park\, inside the City of Richland that will provide public access to the summit of Little Badger Mountain. \nDavid Comstock has a Civil Engineering degree from the University of Colorado\, Boulder and moved to the Tri-Cities in 2000. He has served on the Board of Directors for Friends of Badger Mountain for the last 12 years.
