Plan to get to the summit before sunset, so give yourself enough time. You can join our small entourage when we leave from the Badger Mt Trailhead asphalt parking lot, at the top of Queensgate Dr, at 3:20. We’ll head up the Canyon Trail, although you might use the Sagebrush route if you don’t like the steps, but that does add extra travel time. We’ll get to the western summit of Badger Mt, at the second set of towers facing Rattlesnake Mt, hopefully before the sun sets. Bring a friend, appropriate clothing, and a flashlight.
