Friends of Badger Mountain will be starting the fall work season for the Badger and Candy Mountain trails. The Kennewick REI store is helping get the season off by sponsoring the first work party on National Public Lands Day, Saturday, September 30 from 9 AM to 1 PM.

The work will be general maintenance on the Badger Mountain trails out of Trailhead Park. We will be using tools such as rakes and shovels. There will be little work available for preteens and younger.

If you would like to help please email Jim Langdon at [email protected] so he can plan the work and have enough tools available. Please bring work gloves, water and snacks and a pack to carry them in plus dress for the weather forecast. All tools will be provided. We are only meeting in Trailhead Park and will then hike to the work location so please be on time and plan to be there the 4 hours.
