For this trailwork party we will be meeting at the Candy Mountain Trailhead at 8:30AM.

For this week we will be working on Candy Mountain. We will be continuing rock placement along the edge of the trail we built last year. A lot of people think we place the rocks to make the trail look good which it does but they are really needed to support the edge of the trail. It also maintains the width of the trail and keeps the loose gravel from going down the hillside.

The trailmaser will provide all of the necessary tools for the work. Volunteers will need to bring work gloves, water, and snacks with a pack to carry them. Dressing for the weather is also advised. There’s also isn’t any work for preteens or younger.

Signups help our trailmaster to plan trailwork and also baking enough cookies for all of the volunteers. This also helps in case of last minute schedule changes. Let our trailmaster know you’re coming by emailing [email protected]
