Columbia Basin Native Plant Society – Noxious Weeds Talk

This event by our friends at the Columba Basin chapter of the Washington Native Plant Society may be of particular interest to those wanting to understand the importance of our weed control work on Candy and Badger Mountains.

Vic Reeve, weed control coordinator with the Benton Noxious Weed Control Board, will talk about what the role of the weed board is and how they work with landowners to control noxious weeds. Not all weeds are created equally, and best management practices are used to achieve a sustainable and healthy environment. This talk is presented by the Washington Native Plant Society, Columbia Basin Chapter and is open to the public.
