Hike Red Mountain, then relax and sip fine wines with a spectacular view of the valley and vineyards. The plan is to meet at Hedges Winery by 5:00 pm. Starting from the winery Sarah Hedges Goedhart will lead us on a hike up and along the ridge then back down to the winery. The hike will be a little over an hour. At Hedges, relax on their beautiful patio with one of the best views in the Red Mt AVA, sip refreshing drinks, taste fine wines and enjoy delicious cuisine from Fat Olives.

Hedges Winery is located at 53511 North Sunset Road. Wear sturdy shoes as part of the trail is rocky and bring water. An alternative is to bring your bike for a ride on Sunset and Antinori country roads — or take a leisurely stroll along the vineyard paths.

The cost is $35 which includes grilled chicken tacos, roasted vegetables and salad from Fat Olives, pours of two different wines, and a modest tax deductible contribution to FoBM on behalf of its efforts to create an official trail on Red Mt.
