Monday, December 21, is the winter solstice, the shortest day of the year.   A group will be going up the Canyon Trail, leaving from the lower (unpaved!) parking lot at 3:20 PM to watch from the top the sunset at 4:13 PM.  Bundle up, and bring a flashlight for the trip down.
